Dustin was a big sweetheart and bought me another craft table last night! I put it right by my other one so I have lots of space. I heart my craft tables! This is a picture of my craft room, the big tissue paper flowers are from a Martha Stewart kit at Michaels. We used to have them hanging in the living room but they weirded people out for some reason. They are pretty big. I love them though! My craft room used to be a garage, but the previous owners turned the garage door into a wall and added windows. It still has the cement floor, which is actually kind of nice for making messes - potting plants and painting and things like that. I share the room with Lucy's play yard, storage, and 2 bunnies in their big dog crates. This is one of the big reasons we bought this house, I love it. Of course, my craft corner is the prettiest part of the room. All the storage is behind me and is not so pretty! Selective shot. Seriously. You should see the boxes and stuff behind me. :) Here are some other pictures of things in it:
I just got this cute house shelf at Goodwill last week.
My many books and my gnome.
Some trading cards I made last night for 2 people. They had to be a star theme.
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Or "spring holiday" if you don't celebrate Easter. :) I did absolutely nothing. I knitted, watched Top Model reruns (lazy!) and took a walk. That's pretty much it. And watched Lucy of course, but that's a given. We took her to church last year when she was a newborn, she had a tiny Easter dress and was so cute! I wish we could have gone to church this year but Dustin was working and I would have wanted to go as a family. I can't wait until she's old enough to find eggs! That will be so much fun. I did get her these cool eggs for her age group. "Hiding" them consisted of putting the eggs on the floor or the couch while she watched. She would then find one and give it to Daddy so he could open it for her. They had cute little people and animals in them that are safe for her to have. I'm glad we could at least do something for her today but I forgot to take pictures, dang it.
Awesome craft room!!!! It seems like you can just get straight to work right away on projects, which is really great! I have to dig most of my stuff out from my closet to do anything.
I am with you on the Martha Stewart balls. I love big orb like things, so I think these are really cool!
The gnome diorama is sooooo cute! Andrew was saying you collect gnomes?
Do you still?

Thanks! That's the only way I do as much as I do, that everything's right out in the open and I have lots of space. Anytime in the past craft supplies have been hard to get to I haven't made much at all. I still collect gnomes. :) It all started with this old gnome at my Dad and Betty's house in Oregon City. All 3 of us have lots of gnome stuff. I have 2 outdoor ones and a couple little ones, Dustin even got me gnome pajamas! The movie Amelie just kind of intensified it. :D
