Literally! I've enjoyed watching the roses bloom in my yard and thought you might like to see them too! Sadly I can't take any credit for them, they were all planted when we moved in. I don't even really prune the poor things. They're growing kind of wild and bushy right now but I still think they're beautiful. I actually like the wild untamed garden look better, luckily. I don't have the time to garden right now! My potted plants are doing good, minus the earwigs in my lettuces. My strawberries, herbs and tomatoes are doing great!
I'm so happy that these keep coming up nicely year after year because this is a pretty harsh climate for the poor little guys! I'm excited for the Fourth of July and this weekend. Friday we're going to walk in the pet parade, which Bend has downtown every year, and then we're going to a yummy barbecue at my Dad's house, and my mom will be spending the weekend here. I'm making my poor family walk in the pet parade. I bought Dustin a patriotic shirt, Lucy has a little red, white and blue outfit and I even got red, white and blue leis for the dogs! They're all going to be so embarrassed - hahaha. And then of course I'll post pictures here. ;) What are your plans for the weekend?
I agree, the roses are very pretty this year. We are going to have to trim some of them pretty soon through. I actually think the parade will be fun! My shirt is a stick a dynamite blowing up so that is kinda cool I suppose. I love you Mandy!!!

Roses grow pretty no matter what, and yours are really beautiful. Thanks for coming to the bar-b-que.. You and your family looked so festive for the parade, I watched it on our local tv channel but I did not see you guys. Wow there were alot of people in the parade I was amazed.

this keeps on happening, bt I swear I post comments on your page and then a week later I notice they aren't there. Maybe i am not typing the word verification in correctly, or something!
Anyways, I love your roses, they are beautiful. I esp. love the white ones, I love yellow and white roses!

Holly, I'm not sure why your comments aren't showing up! That's really weird. The only thing I can think of is that typepad has been making some changes and it's messing some things up. I don't get emails when I receive a comment now either.
