Yesterday we went to the Deschutes County Fair. Fairs are always so much fun! I like the open class entries (handmade things, jams, photography, baked goods, etc.) and the animals the best. I've never been much of a person for the rides and games but I do think it will be fun for Lucy when she gets a little older. Sadly Dustin didn't win any ribbons for his beer. They were really, really good beers though. There's always next year!
Blurry but check out that goat! How funny. I didn't notice him when I was taking this.
Cute and sweet baby goats
Sleepy sheep
Daaaad I don't want my picture taken in front of the cow butts!
Keeping an eye on the huge horses
I think the horses freaked her out a little
Petting zoo
2 good things - hugs from my little girl and a bubble gum shaved ice (my favorite kind)
She likes it as much as I do!
A little grumpy towards the end but she sure slept well that night! I can't wait to take her when she's a little bigger and can go on some of the rides.
Great pics! I love the ones of you and Lucy together eating the shaved ice (bubble gum!!!! you are crazy!)
I love going to cute fairs like that.
Too bad about Dustin, I really thought he was going to win, but he will next time! It must have been rigged! Good thing Casey and I werent there, we would have probably booed the judges loudly and embarrased you guys!!!
And I am sure I have said this before a few thousand times, but Lucy is growing up so fast! She is such a little girl now instead of a baby.

Ooh I love bubble gum flavored stuff!! Ever since I was little. I forget how weird that must seem. :D I love bubble gum snow cones so much I've hardly ever tried another flavor. I found bubble gum flavored Tillamook ice cream at the store a couple weeks ago and ate the whole carton by myself! (not in one night or anything, let's get this straight) Dusty wouldn't touch it. Bubble gum - mmmmmm. And Lucy is growing up so fast! It's crazy.

we saw Dusty's beer at the fair, I loved the labels very orginial. I tasted the wheat beer that Dustin made I thought it was very good and should of won. It looked like the judge liked light beer from what I saw that won. Did you see all the different verity of chickens? We walked to the fair from our house and that was fun because we were walking faster then the cars were moving at times. BJ
