Boy is Lucy at that age. These are pictures of things she's come up with in the last 2 days:
Wearing an oven mitt and shoving the remote down between the couch cushions (on purpose). Right before this she had one red oven mitt on each arm and looked like a lobster! It was so funny - I couldn't grab the camera fast enough though.
Um, yes. Those are tampons. In a barn silo. She was in the bathroom while I was taking a shower and somehow did this in the meantime. She kept throwing things in the shower too. When do you know you're the mom of a toddler? When you can't take a shower alone, when your personal items end up in a silo and when you're having to step over soggy rabbit shaped graham crackers while you're showering. On the shower floor. And it's just all part of a normal day in your life!
Here she is wearing my bra as a necklace. Enough said.
How can I not just love her to pieces though?! I love how creative she is, like - "I know, I'll do this! It'll be fun!" I love seeing what she comes up with. She cracks me up. And sorry, I know you probably didn't want to see both tampons and a hot pink bra in the same post but come on - it's funny! :) After you're a mother all decency completely flies out the window. Oh, and by the way, I finally got her hair into a ponytail! This is a personal accomplishment of mine, you don't have to be too excited. But maybe just a little bit?

I just love Lucy's creative mind. That is what makes her very special. Great job on the ponytail, I can remember feeling the same way with Kadie and her 1st ponytail but I think Kadie like hers as well as I know Lucy will. Have fun being a Mom you only get to experience somethings once and others alot more. Have a good day.

awww, i love that ponytail!!!! when i had a roomate with a toddler daughter she would always do thinks with my underwear, i hated it, but i miss her so much too! This was really hard to type because it is 109 here today. I am melting!
