On Wednesday we went to the High Desert Museum, we have a membership and it's one of our favorite places to go! This time was especially fun because Lucy is finally old enough to get excited over the animals. If you're in central Oregon I would definitely suggest going, they've done a great job depicting our area and I think it's a very relaxing place to visit. The fall is my favorite time of the year to go, the trees are beautiful!
Lucy looking at her "wah-er"
Me and my Little Miss - Lucy insisted on wearing her backpack. It's actually a little harness for when you're in a really crowded area but she loves wearing it. :)
Luce is abiding by the rules.
Mmmmm, little tiny pinecone things! We had to keep prying these things out of her mouth. :(
Luce and her Dada
Lucy and I looking at chickens - they were so cute! This area of the museum is a replica of a homestead so they have farm animals you can see, and a pioneer garden with real veggies and things. This is my favorite part, I think I would have been happy living somewhere like this. According to Lucy, chickens say cuhcuhcuhcuhcuh. If you listen to them, they do sound like this! I love it when she imitates the actual animal noise, not the "book version" (cluck).
Eeeee! They're so disapproving and cute! We want to get some chickens in the spring, very badly. We'll see though...we've been planning this for a couple years now and it hasn't happened yet.
The inside of the homestead. Isn't it cute and cozy?
Chipmunk!
I love, love, love the feeling in the air when fall is here or almost here. I can't get enough of being outside. I have a yummy fall dinner planned for tonight - homemade chicken noodle soup and homemade bread! Mmmmm.
Lucy did look pretty funny looking at the rules sign. :) I did really like that dinner and it was really good for lunch today too since it wasn't so nice outside.
