On Wednesday Dustin, Lucy and I went to the DD ranch in Terrebonne to pick out a pumpkin! We were excited to take her since it's the first year she can really participate, last year she was just a baby. Here's a couple Halloween pictures from last year, she was a ballerina:
Isn't she cute? I can't believe that was a whole year ago. She looks so...little!! And full of cheeks. I still have the tiara, which is something I'll never give away.
Here she is a couple days ago, at the pumpkin patch:
Out in the field, navigating over the little rocks and holes. Those things are big when you're so small and have little feet!
Checking out the little chickens
Little artist, drawing in the dirt with a corn thing. I don't know what to call it - flower? stalk? Anyone know what it's called?
My 2 pumpkins with their pumpkins!
And no trip to a pumpkin patch would be complete without the animals! The 3 of us had so much fun, we definitely want to do this every year.
What a lovely day! I love Lucy's manic face in the first photo from last year. She has gotten so big!

It looks like Lucy is writing with the top of the corn stock which we called "tassle" or "corn tassle". Looking back at halloween time on the farm it would of been fun to have a pumpkin patch like that, too bad Mom and I didn't think of it.
