The other morning Dustin woke up (he wakes up early) to everything covered in snow! There wasn't very much, it was almost melted by the time I woke up, but still! I know it shouldn't surprise me since I live in a place like this but it does, every time. I can remember as a kid playing outside on the 4th of July and watching snowflakes come down. We bundled up for firework watching that night! I don't feel like I'm ready for the chill of winter yet, I'm still hanging on to summer a little bit!
Lucy is ready for the chill of winter (please excuse my messy house).
Also, please excuse the blurriness. She doesn't sit still long enough to get a good picture anymore! This is how I had to dress poor Lucy just to take a walk in our neighborhood. She's trying to get her hat(s) and mittens off but with no luck. At least her little hands were warm when we got back!
How do you like my new blog look? I love my new banner so much. Heather at Bluhm Studios did an amazing job. I just felt like I needed something that was a little more me. She did designs for my web page too. Right now I just have links on there but since the address is on my business cards I wanted something that fit with my aesthetic (you should have seen what was on there before - ugh). I'm going to add more info to that page too, I'm just still thinking about what I want to say. I have a hard time doing "about me" blurbs, it's hard to sum up my life and what I'm about in a paragraph. It's just as hard making it sound equally good and non-pompous!

love the new banner. And I totally understnad the photo dilemna. All my photos of my oldest lately are of his back as he runs away!

I like the new look you have. Lucy will like her mittens when the snow falls and she is out playing in it.
