I really want to have a handmade Christmas this year: presents, cards, decorations, even wrapping paper! I thought it would be fun to involve Lucy as much as possible. I found some foam Christmas stickers and some foam tree shapes at the store yesterday and thought Lucy would have fun helping make our Christmas cards to send out.
I peeled the backs off the stickers for her and she stuck them on where she wanted.
Then I punched a hole in the top, made a little tag to go with it for the "card" part, tied a string on the top for hanging and made labels for the back that say "Decorated by Lucy".

I think these turned out so cute! I got envelopes for them and I'm sure people will love receiving them in the mail.
Good job decorating, Lucy!!
I hope there is one for me! So cute! How great that you are involving Lucy instead of forbiding her to touch anything! She looks very serious and determined.
Soooooo precious. I am excited for Christmas, I have always been a sucker for it. I think maybe becaue winter isn't my favorite time of year, so it helps cheer things up a bit.
Also, I love that formica table, have you always had that?

Holly, of course there's one for you! :)
We just got that table about 2 months ago. I've been waiting to post pictures until we redo the chairs, it has 3 chairs but the vinyl is in bad shape. We got some oilcloth and we're going to cover the vinyl with it...just need some extra time which is in short supply these days. I think it's going to look really cute when everything's done!
