I hope everyone has had, or is having a nice Thanksgiving morning! I love it because it's one of the few times the 3 of us get to hang out in our pajamas with nowhere to go, and nothing to do except sit around and watch the Thanksgiving parade. We made a nice big pot of coffee and got some Holiday flavored coffee creamer (White Chocolate Raspberry and Mint Chocolate, mmmm). It might not sound like a big deal but it was a nice treat. We decided that buying flavored coffee creamer is a little luxury and we usually put milk in our coffee instead. I knitted most of the morning while Dustin talked on the phone with his family and Lucy came up with her own things to amuse herself:
Had a fake food fest in the living room. Seriously, there is fake food scattered all over the whole house. She also thought it would be fun to put a bunch in a box and dump the box on the kitchen floor over and over.
I think she thought the dogs needed a Thanksgiving dinner too. See the turkey?
Very interested in the Radio City Rockettes when they came on the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on TV. She was studying their every move and was even lifting her little legs up when they were doing the cancan.
Very neatly lined up her dollhouse furniture on one of my kitchen towels (see the toilet?) and then stuffed them all down her barn silo.
I love toddlers and their goofy antics, and I love Thanksgiving too! Hope everyone has a great day!
What a sweet morning! I love coffee time with Casey, and I know what you mean, how something so simple can be a such a luxury.
Lucy is so cute and curious. I giggled thinking of her doing the cancan like the Rockettes!
