It's Lucy's Birthday!

Two years ago today at 10:44am, my baby girl was born. I fell in love instantly.

She has absolutely changed my life for the better and I am still in love.
She is growing up so fast!


I feel so lucky to be the mommy to such a silly, sassy, sweet little girl. Here are a few of my favorite things that she does/says right now:
-When she wants more of something she says "I's Mooo-ooore."
-When she's done with her food she says "Nun nun nun!"
-They way she says "Luz ya" for I love you
-When she says Daddy she always has to add a "my" to the front. I'm just mommy.
-She has to yell "YeeHaw!" every time she sees someone with a cowboy hat. In a cowboy town like Redmond this can get embarrassing.
-The way she reads  her books to herself when she doesn't think we're listening. "That's cat MEOW. Dog. AH AH! The babies they sleeeep. THE END!"
-Her funny little run, I've never seen feet move so fast.
-How she calls our fish "fif" and insists that they have a baba (bottle) in their tank.
-She buckles herself into her doll stroller but can't unbuckle it so she'll wheel herself (still buckled in) to where we are and whine. This cracks me up every time because she barely even fits in it in the first place.
-Her funny little sentences. The other day I asked her if she wanted Dora cookies and she said "No. No I don't want no Dora cookies." I think that's an incredibly long sentence for a not-yet-2 year old, no matter how grammatically incorrect.
-Her politeness! She almost always says "thank you", "please", "bless you", etc. at the appropriate times. It has caught a lot of strangers off guard, this tiny girl saying thank you and bless you. I'm particularly proud of this one. ;)
-The way every time we drive by an empty field she yells "Where cows go?" Again, I think this is a Redmond thing.

I love this little girl so much! I am so proud of her and am so happy to be her mommy.

Oh gosh, I cant believe I missed Lucy's B-day.

I cannot believe she is two already, and she looks like a different girl since I last saw her!
I cannot wait to see her again.

I think Where cows go? is the best saying I have heard in a long time. I love reading about all the cute things she does, you write it so well!
