Color! That might sound like a weird 30 days of happiness thing, but I thrive off of it. If there's one thing I always notice, it's the color of something.
Color in an unexpected place makes me happy. Bright colors, elegantly muted colors, I love them all. In different ways, of course. I never could decide on one color scheme for my house, there truly is no color that I dislike. I settled on a base of neutrals with pops of color all over. In our living room we have pops of red, orange, pink, teal, green and gold among the neutrals. I love it!
Color gets kind of hard to come by in central Oregon, in the winter. I think that's part of my obsession, having lived here for so long. Everything turns gray/brown/white and can get very dreary.
I recently found the most wonderful inspiration source for interesting color combinations; The Inspired Bride. I've been printing out my favorites and putting them on my inspiration board in my craft room for future ideas.
I've been loving these! When I've felt stuck with a lack of ideas, it's been so nice to have these little palettes close by for inspiration.
Does color affect you like it does me?
I love the bunting on your inspiration board. Colour is so incredibly inspiring to me too. I love bright cheery colours emboldened against a stark white. Those photos of colour actually made my morning cheerier. Thank you for sharing them. xoxo

Beautiful pictures!! Colors affect my mood everyday, in subtle ways and in extreme ways. I still can't get over the pictures you posted. They capture the essence of beauty in colors to the dot!
