Today I got a rare day off by myself! Lucy's at nursery school all day until 5, Dustin's at work and I didn't have to go in to work today! I have so completely enjoyed myself so far. I went into Bend to go to Target, and I was there for almost 2 hours! Shopping without kids or a husband present, especially when you don't need anything, is bliss. Not that I don't enjoy spending time with them, but shopping by myself is so much fun. I don't do it nearly enough. I looked at all the fall clothes, tried things on, tried shoes on, looked at makeup, looked at purses, and took my sweet time about it. There's just something about being on your own schedule and your own time that's very therapeutic. I can't even remember the last time I did something like that without having someone with me.
New lipstick! Therapeutic as well, I think.
After I got back into town I went to Starbucks and their pumpkin spice lattes are back! I splurged on one and a scone.
Seriously, best day ever.
This whole post probably sounds totally silly, but I am just giddy happy about my day off. I needed one.
you look so joyful in that shot! It makes me happy. I've been thinking about you, sending you good thoughts.

I just had a pumpkin spice latte too. I always feel super happy when they are back.....the beginnings of crisp autumn air, soon to come Thanksgiving, crunchy falling leaves all come to mind. So happy you got to get out and play. xoxo

Oh yum! Pumpkin Spice Lattes sound great! I am glad that you had a great day all to yourself! By the way, how was the magazine? I just picked up Martha Stewart's Halloween issue to read:)
