I've gotten quite a bit of sewing done this week! To me, sewing is one of those things that always needs doing. My shop always needs filling and I'm always coming up with new ideas. It makes me happy when I feel like I've really gotten a lot done in a week, and don't end up feeling burnt out as a result. My shop is already getting busy for the holidays and I'm already getting custom requests. Lately it's seemed like I've been selling as much as I put in there! It's definitely a good thing, but can be difficult to keep up with as the holidays get closer.
These are some of the things I've been working on recently. Little matryoshka dolls and some Christmas stockings. Lots and lots of hand sewing on these! I love hand sewing, but lately it's seemed that I'm hand sewing with every free second I have!
I'm happy with these girls! And glad that I've had the motivation lately to get a lot done.
I also love those dolls, and the stockings are cute. Good luck with the holiday season.

My Mom has commissioned me to make new stockings for the family this year. She wants 'elf' stockings, where the toe curls up. I'm psyched about it. :)
