30 Days of Happiness, Day 20: Sleepy Toddlers

There is nothing like cuddling a fresh-from-the-bath toddler in clean pajamas. The wet hair, reading stories, snuggles - love it. 

 

Yes, she does still uses pacifiers. Two! She sticks one mouth part through the other one's handle and sucks on it, with the second paci mouth part sticking up in front of her nose. She likes to play with the sticking up one when she's going to sleep. It looks like she has a big paci nose! It's the funniest thing. She's been doing that for almost a year now, I think. I forget how weird it is until someone is staying overnight and sees her with both pacis.

I love how she looks instantly drowsy when she puts a paci in her mouth. It's just one comfort that I'm not willing to make her give up yet. 

I do love a sleepy toddler. Of course, when I've had a challenging day with her, it's wonderful knowing I'll shortly have a little time to myself, too!
