30 Days of Happiness, Day 23: Autumn Walks

This is my favorite time of year to take walks, the colors are so beautiful and there's pretty scenery everywhere!

 

It's even more fun to bring Roxie! She's a good dog, part corgi and part heeler. She's our buddy.

 

It's such a shame that the trees can't stay like this all year, isn't it.

 

But it's only for a short time, so we had better get out and enjoy them!

 

I love the berries and seed pods, too.

 

Crabapples are one of my favorite trees, they're gorgeous in the spring with all their pink blossoms and in the fall with their orange-y leaves and red berries.

I love taking autumn walks, what's your favorite part about fall?

Beautiful photos, Amanda. I love the fall. I think what I like the best about it is how fleeting it is. Like you said, the leaves are only in their colorful splendor for a short time, so you have to keep an eye on when they turn and enjoy them while you can. I think if they were like this *all* year, it might get old.

Fall is my fav time of year.. Here in Arkansas, the ozarks are the prettiest in the state. Thanks for the photo shop link.. I will check it our and see how it works.. I have a few on my computer but they are very limited.. Thanks again for stopping by my blog.
