We had a nice time in Salem! Lucy and I both have bad colds, but we did pretty well. I would have to say our energy was lower than usual though. We had a wonderful time visiting my Mom and my brothers and brothers' girlfriends! It was nice and low-key. One of the places we took Lucy is called A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village, a really cute children's museum on the waterfront in Salem. A.C. Gilbert is the man who invented the erector set and the museum is housed in his uncle's victorian home. We had a lot of fun! This is one of the places Dustin and I always wanted to take our kids someday when we had them so it was nice to finally do so. They have a very cool room just for toddlers under 2 years old. Everything is padded and they have lots of mirrors and fun, sturdy toys to play with. We were probably in there for an hour. Lucy's getting good with her walking, although she has to hold my hand, so we also walked all around the museum. She splashed in the bubble room and got all soapy and crawled through a huge "stomach" in the body basics room. Here are a few pictures:
If you ever get the chance to take your kid/s here, do so! They have a lot of neat exhibits that were too old for Lucy, but we will definitely take her back when she's a little older. The grounds and houses are really pretty too.

That place looks cool, I bet it was nice to get time with your brothers. Cute pics! It is a little weird to see pictures of lucy walking around!
