Part of my life is organized now - my fabric and threads! The rest of it, not so much. Actually, I just looked down at my coffee mug that I'm drinking coffee out of and realized it has pink paint all over the rim. Whoops! I store my paintbrushes in mugs when they're drying...guess I didn't clean this one so well. Or the paintbrush for that matter. See what I mean? At least my embroidery floss and fabric looks nice...
I washed, dryed, and ironed all that fabric. It literally took days. Those 2 pictures don't really show how nearly how much fabric I have. :D Now it's all ready to use though! Now when I have an idea I can just go to town. I always have to pre-wash my fabric before I start something and now I don't have to wait! I put these guys in my Etsy shop this morning:
My goodness has Lucy been going through a PHASE. Arrrrgghhh. She's busy, busy, busy but is bored with all her toys. This means she looks for fun elsewhere! Like in electrical outlets and things like that (even thought they're all covered, she tries to get the covers off). Neither Dustin or I can sit down while she's awake or we'll be fussed at nonstop. I really have no idea why. This includes the couch, the table to eat, anything! If I'm up washing the dishes or something she ignores me. So I've been on my feet a lot. Anyone know why this might be? I can't figure it out. I just got a book from the library called "Your One Year Old: Fussy and Fun-loving". That title pretty much sums it up. She fusses all the time! She's cute and funny at this age, trying to figure things out (yesterday she figured out how to growl - haha), but she's really been hard to be around! I feel like she's in her terrible twos already, and I'm scared about what the next year is going to bring. I know all of you with kids are like "Welcome to parenthood!" but I've really been struggling. I hope this passes soon. So she's been doing this for a while now, but here are the last 2 weeks: 100 degrees outside for 2 days - Lucy was hot and cranky, she threw up in the car, had a bad fever, started teething, stopped teething, got a cold and started teething again. So right now she's not sleeping well, is all stuffed up, and is teething! On top of the crazy phase. We're going out of town tomorrow, that could go either way. Either a change of scenery will do her good, or she'll really be acting up. We'll see...

I love how you organized everything, Amanda! For some reason I love photos of organized drawers and shelves...maybe because I never can have anything organized longer than 3 days....casey's fault pretty much-!!!!!good thing I love him!
anyways the colors of the thread look so pretty all organized like that!
Good luck with Lucy on your trip. Since I am not a mother, I don't have any answers, but I do feel for you!

I love all the pictures! The embroidery floss reminds me of the good old days in 4-H. I may have to take that up again.
